The multi-talented rapper and actor Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, is preparing to drop his sophomore album Because The Internet. In a lead-up to the album, Childish Gambino released a new song today, Melrose.

“ Childish Gambino, returns today with ‘Melrose,’ … starting out with a slow, sauntering piano, the track soon shifts into a lush, slightly uptempo ballad, as Gambino eschews his recent wellspring of emotional revelations for rich falsetto vocals and gentle romanticism.
“The track was revealed in a tweet to pop singer Jhené Aiko, with whom Gambino recently worked with on the single ‘Bed Peace.’ The two have been linked romantically, but have said their relationship is not sexual.”
Childish Gambino is better known to fans by his real name Donald Glover, as he’s better known for his acting than his music. However Gambino does have an underground following for his music as well, and they will surely be looking forward to his new album Because The Internet scheduled to drop on Dec. 10.
