Quarterback Michael Vick will probably sit out this week’s Philadelphia Eagles’ game against the Oakland Raiders, after re-injuring his left hamstring in Sunday’s loss to the New York Giants, according to Eagles coach Chip Kelly.
Kelly, who usually doesn’t talk much about injuries, said he is not sure about the results of Vick’s MRI Monday, adding that he would still assume that Vick is the quarterback for Eagles’ Sunday game against the Oakland Raiders.
“Mike didn’t seem like he was going to be ready this week,” Kelly said. “He felt like, the first time, that he was going to be back after the [Oct. 6] Giants game.
“This is the first time I’ve talked to him where he thought he may be out. We’ll see after we sit down and visit, after we get the final [MRI] results.”
More details to come.
