2. Clear Vision

“Make a choice! Just decide what it’s going to be, who you are going to be, how you are going to do it. Just decide and from that point the universe is gonna get out your way…I feel very strongly, we are who we choose to be.” – Will Smith, actor

Many of us have several ideas, visions and outcomes to which we are committed or at least interested in. Oftentimes many of these ideas are competing or conflicting or they may even be mutually exclusive. Additionally, many of us impose unnecessary conditions on our vision.

A clear vision has the attributes necessary to be easily conveyed to ourselves and to others. It must answer the questions what, where and when. The how and the who are often not necessary.

In most cases, the majority of these outcomes register a low level of importance and provide little to no distraction from major ideological commitments or visions. However, when we register two or more of these visions at a relatively high level of commitment – we are often drawn in multiple directions that make it more difficult to realize any one of these visions in a reasonable amount of time.
