Josh Smith is getting pretty comfortable on his new team, the Detroit Pistons—so much so that he is looking like his old self.
Smith ended his preseason nailing a 3-pointer from deep at the buzzer to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 99-98.
After a timeout, Smith got the ball from the inbounder, between the top of the key and the right wing, and he let it fly with the 3-pointer. He got some help from the rim when his shot bounced high off it. Then with another generous bounce, the ball went through cleanly.
The whole play can be seen in the video below.
The Pistons finished the preseason 4-4 and now have five days to focus on practice and working out kinks before opening the regular season Wednesday 30th at home against the Washington Wizards.
