Timbaland’s Wife Monique Mosley Files For Divorce

Timbaland is headed for divorce after five years of marriage and if his estranged wife Monique Mosley has it her way, it will be a very expensive one.

The established music producer and artist may find himself shelling out millions because, according to Us magazine, Mosley has a long list of monetary requests.

“Mosley is asking for child support, not just for her 5-year-old daughter with Timbaland, but also for her 10-year-old child from a previous relationship. She reasons that the rapper has ‘publicly and privately proclaimed this child as his own,'” according to the report.

Additionally, Mosley is requesting life insurance, alimony, and money for private schooling, vacations, and summer camp. She’s also asking her ex to cover her legal expenses and wants “rehabilitative alimony” as well as permanent alimony.”

The apparent excessive demands may not break Timbaland’s wallet’s as one might assume. In 2013 alone, the “Hands in the Air” singer was the main producer for Justin Timberlake’s chart-topping album The 20/20 Experience. He also produced Beyonce’s “Grown Woman” single, Cher’s “I Don’t’ Have to Sleep to Dream” and signed on to Jay Z’s Roc Nation label.

Timbaland, who has two other sons from a previous relationship, may have seen the end of his marriage coming. In a 2011 episode of E!’s True Hollywood Story, he admitted being married to him is no walk in the park.

“It’s probably hard to be married to me. It’s not easy. I’m a musical genius. I’m weird, I do crazy things, it’s not like the average norm. But I’m a loving guy,” he said.
