Atlanta Black Star reported Wednesday that the NFL was reviewing a hit by Detroit Lions’ Ndamukong Suh on Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden for possible league violations.
Lo and behold, the defensive tackle has been fined, yet again, by the NFL.
Suh was penalized $31,500 by the league for a helmet-to-helmet hit on the Browns’ QB, according to the Associated Press. The NFL has not announced the fine yet, but the news spread after an inside source leaked the information.
Suh acknowledged that because of his past fines, he’s likely to be heavily scrutinized.
“I think there is always going to be a microscope on me,” Suh said. “I think there has been a microscope on me since I was first drafted.”
Since he was picked No. 2 overall in the 2010 draft by Detroit, Suh has been fined seven times for more than $200,000.
