Carmelo Anthony Still ‘Not Over’ Playoffs Lost to Pacers

New York Knicks all-star Carmelo Anthony is still haunted by his team’s loss to the Indiana Pacers in last season’s playoffs. Anthony said he still thinks about the series the Knicks lost.

“I’m not over it. I’m not over it,” Anthony told ESPN New York. “I might act like it’s over but I’m not over it, not at all.”

The Knicks lost 2-4 to the Pacers in the second round of the seven-game NBA playoff season. Anthony and the Knicks almost came out with a win in Game 6, but lost when they struggled in the final quarter.

“For me it’s definitely motivation,” Anthony said. “But I don’t need that to motivate me. I get up and I get going myself. I motivate myself. I know what happened last year and I won’t forget that.”
