Teyana Taylor and Rihanna may answer to their music label bosses, besties Kanye West and Jay Z, but that doesn’t mean the two ladies have to get along as well.
Rihanna is known for throwing shade, mostly subliminal, via Twitter and Instagram. Her previous victims include Ciara and Karrueche Tran.
This time, bad gal RiRi used her hairstylist, Yusef, to do her dirty work. The Bajan beauty uploaded a video of her stylist dressed in drag, performing a cover of Anita Baker’s “Rapture” – Taylor uploaded her own version on September 12th. It didn’t take long for Taylor’s fans to react to the alleged diss. Not surprisingly, Taylor was then pressured to respond, and she didn’t hold back.
“B–ch knew what the f–k she was doing,” she started.
“Ya net worth & ya body count go neck to neck. #IndustryP—y” Taylor continued. “90 million dollars & 90 million n—as diving in that b—h box.”
According to NY Daily News, the latter tweet caused Rihanna to take pause – but not for long:
“The Diamonds singer’s usual outspokenness seemed to be silenced a bit by Taylor’s responses, but she eventually shot back tweeting:
“I hate broke b–ches.”
“I REFUSE to help your career,” Rihanna tweeted and later deleted. “You will NOT get an @ from me! Not til you pay me! #nomorefreepromo #iRefuse.”
