Promotion continues for Spike Lee’s “Oldboy” with a new viral video featuring new posters and ads for “Hotel Oldboy,” which is where the lead actor, Josh Brolin’s character, will be held against his will for 20 years.
In the promotional video, we get a gruesome look at Josh Brolin’s character’s captivity, accompanied by taglines like ’24/7 private security’ and ‘three in-room meals a day,’ and a call from Samuel L. Jackson.
Spike Lee’s much anticipated adaptation, which also stars Sharlto Copley, Elizabeth Olsen, and Samuel L. Jackson, opens in theaters Thanksgiving weekend November 27th.
Lee has directed from a script written by Mark Protosevich, who is also producing alongside Roy Lee, Doug Davison and Nathan Kahane.
