Ciara Trashes Fan on Twitter, Bringing Attention to Cyberbullying

R&B singer Ciara was all in her feelings last evening, as the “Ride” singer was on the receiving end of some unwarranted criticism from a fan who poked fun at her dance moves and songs.

The tweet read:

“The Matrix ame out in 2001, why are you still doing it? I wish u would sit your dancing azz down them old azz dance moves. I like one song since u been singing and that’s yo body is my party.”

The 27-year-old performer didn’t handle the attack well, opting to respond:

“@KibaGossett That Matrix Move, Sure Is Gettin Me A Lott’a Money. But What U Gettin Wit Dem Bangs??:)..1 Follower:)…..Crickets:)…”

Ciara’s response didn’t stop there however, as she proceeded to share a photo of her cyberbully on Instagram with the caption:

“Them Bangs? Seriously Them Bangs??:)… This Person Thinks It’s Cool 2 Talk About People All Day:) Not Cool!:)”

Not surprisingly, the photo was quickly removed. Ciara, realizing she has the bigger platform and can do more harm than her unknown attacker, used the moment to bring attention to cyberbullying.

“Sometimes you want to go off when people say mean things about u, it’s like what’s the point? When you respond like them it’s never good either =) u give them too much shine, that’s exactly what they want. Best Response Is 2 Pray 4 Them and Keep Moving,” the Instagram post read.

“#I’mHumanJustLike You #No1′sPerfect,” she added.
