Ogwumike hit a clutch shot in the final minute of the first overtime against the Tulsa Shock and in a wild celebration Parker tackled her against the goalpost. Parker’s head caught Ogwumike in the left eye, and the blood started flowing.
Ogwumike took it like a champ and returned to the game. She hit six straight shots to keep the Sparks in the lead. Parker redeemed herself by hitting the game-winning shot with 5.7 seconds for a 90-88 victory over the Shock.
