Canelo Alvarez Has No Doubt He Can Beat Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Canelo Alvarez strongly believes that things are going to be different when he gets in the ring with undefeated

In exactly a month, 23-year-old Alverez will have his chance to test his belief when he goes toe-to-toe with legendary Mayweather in front of millions of fans from around the world.

This will be the biggest stage of the young boxer’s life and perhaps his boxing career, if he is able to be the first to end Mayweather’s perfect record at 44 fights.

Alvarez is also unbeaten, sporting a pristine 42-0-1 record of his own. However, none of Alvarez’s fighters can compare to the likes of Oscar De La Hoya, Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo, Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto, Jesus Chavez, Carlos Hernandez and Robert Guerrero, all of whom Mayweather easily defeated.

Alvarez does not seem to be concerned though. He has studied Mayweather for years, and he believes he knows what he is in for.  Judging from what he has seen, he  says he is convinced he’ll come out on top.

“I’m a strong-minded fighter,” Alvarez declared. “I’m not going to fight the fight he wants me to do. I will fight the fight I need to fight to win.”
