Hello Brooklyn!
Jay Z has crowned himself the King of Brooklyn, so it was only right to join his queen on stage. Beyonce‘s “Mrs. Carter World Tour” performed a three-night run to a sold out crowd at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. On Monday night, following an energetic performance of the Hit-Boy-produced record “Bow Down,” Jay Z appeared, sending the crowd into a frenzy!
Jay performed “Tom Ford” from his platinum-selling album “Magna Carta Holy Grail.”
Meanwhile, Beyonce’s fan base known as the Bey Hive may be growing impatient as she struggles to find a new sound for her fifth album. Rumors surfaced late last month that she dumped over 50 songs and pushed a tentative spring release date to this fall.
Beyonce’s longtime collaborator Ne-Yo agreed that things aren’t coming as easily, but he’s certain the Bey Hive will be patient. He stated back in June:
“I’m still putting stuff together for Beyonce’s album. They’re still trying to figure out what they want that to be, which I’m not mad at. Beyonce’s the kind of artist where you’re not gonna see it ‘till it’s right. Her fans – they love her, so they’ll be patient.”
Check out the power couple in action below – they even shared a smooch in the end to send the crowd overboard.
