There seems to be no end in sight for the grandmaster “Ip Man” franchise, as the latest installment, “Ip Man: The Final Fight,” brings the total number of films about the legendary Kung fu master to five.
The “Ip Man: The Final Fight” is set in postwar Hong Kong, and tells the story of legendary Wing Chun grandmaster, Ip Man, played by Anthony Wong. Ip Man is reluctantly called into action once more when a simple challenge from rival kung fu styles leads to the dark and dangerous underworld of the Triads.
Herman Yau directed the film while Anthony Wong, Eric Tsang and Gillian Chung make up the principal players.
“Ip Man: The Final Fight” opens in theaters September 20th, 2013.
