Well, not really, but if he’s smart he would choose the South Beach team. The center will host three teams this week before making a decision on where he’ll start his NBA comeback.
Sources told ESPN.com, that Oden will meet with the Miami Heat, New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings and all three teams will watch Oden work out in person.
The former No. 1 overall pick met with San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks face-to-face last week. He also met with the Heat’s Pat Riley last week, where the president described the meeting as “good.”
The San Antonio Spurs have also established themselves as the front-runners in the deal to land Oden. According to sources, Oden is considering between the Spurs and the Heat.
