Willow Smith is only 12-years old but she already knows a thing or two about love…or at least a summer fling.
Jada Pinkett Smith’s only daughter released a track called Summer Fling detailing a love affair that many consider to be inappropriate.
“It’s just a couple months but we do it anyway,” sings Willow. The lyrics continue: “Don’t really care what we do tonight. Good night kisses if the mood is right, laying by the beach with you wishing this will never end. Thanks for the summer fling. It was nice.”
The video shows the 12-year old Willow with an older boyfriend and other teenagers.
Critics took the Twitter to bash the young artist,
“Willow Smith has a tongue ring half her head shaved and is bisexual. She needs to go live with her Aunty and Uncle in Bel Air.’
@LiquoricePlease added: “12 y/o tongue-pierced Willow Smith’s video for new song ‘Summer Fling’ includes pre-pubescent Willow’s post-pubescent boyfriend. Hmmm,” while @Faith_Kadirah agrees, adding: “Willow smith isn’t even a teenager and ages talking about summer fling :/.”
Some Twitter users urged Willow to ignore the criticism.
“i seriously loved the video.ignore all the other comments Willow.”
