Beyonce has managed to impress her adorable baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter, with her latest animated movie role and it appears she’ll continue to make her daughter proud as she kicks off the three-day BET music festival this weekend, just ahead to the BET Awards show.
We all know how much Beyonce adores her 17-month-old bundle of joy and she always reminds us with creative snapshots on her official Tumblr page that are all about baby Blue.
The latest photos include a picture of an adorable peach dress, Blue Ivy curiously poking her mother’s nose, and even a shot of Queen Bey trying to slip into her daughter’s hot pink Tom Ford heels.
Well, Mrs. Carter has received confirmation that her little one is just as impressed with her superstar mommy.
Beyonce recently starred in an animated role for the movie “Epic” and when she let her baby diva watch a few clips of the movie, she immediately recognized her mother’s voice and was quite surprised.
“I showed her a few of the scenes…” Beyonce said. “She was like, ‘Wait a minute. That’s you!’”
The “Grown Woman” songstress went on to say that Blue seemed to be very amused by her mother’s voice coming out of the animated character although it was a little strange for the R&B diva herself.
“I hate hearing myself speak,” Mrs. Carter said. “I think everyone does. I hear my little crazy voice coming out of this beautiful, regal woman – I’m like this is really strange, but I love it.”
How can she not love it when Blue Ivy already does?
“She seemed to be impressed,” Bey added about her daughter’s reaction to her mom’s voice acting.
If the animated role was enough to impress baby Blue, we can only imagine how she would feel if she was able to watch her mom perform on stage.
The “Countdown” songstress kicked off the weekend’s BET music festival, which is building up to the 13th annual BET Awards Show.
While she is certainly the biggest R&B star out there right now, the powerhouse singer only snagged one nomination at the BET Awards Show, which isn’t a surprise considering how much time she has been dedicating to being a mother.
A world tour is enough for one person to manage, but balancing the tour and motherhood meant that Queen Bey hasn’t produced much new material for the Bey Hive – which is just fine because they still haven’t stopped having private karaoke sessions in their bathroom with a brush-turned-microphone while blasting Beyonce’s “4” album from 2011.
The megastar herself is aware of the way things have changed now and explained that at this stage in her life, music isn’t her first priority.
“In the back of my mind, she’s my priority,” she said earlier this year about her daughter. “Life is completely different now. So I’m – I feel really, really lucky that I can still do what I love and now have a way bigger meaning. And that’s to be her mother.”
