In the Kanye West cheating scandal, it looks like Leyla Ghobadi just can’t get her story straight. And that’s all the more reason to believe that she is lying about sleeping with West while he was already in a relationship with Kim Kardashian.
Kardashian and West finally welcomed their first child together into the world, but that doesn’t mean the cheating rumors are going to stop.
When the story broke that Kanye had been cheating on Kimmy K .with a Canadian model, it seemed like the Kimye chapter was already about to crumble apart.
A little bit of relief came when the media discovered that Star Magazine, which originally broke the story, never gave Kanye’s sideline chick a lie-detector test before paying her almost $20,000 to publish the story.
Now the curvy model is claiming that Kanye informed her that he was only dating Kimmy K for publicity and their relationship meant nothing to him.
“He told me… he wanted to ‘hook up,’” Leyla said. “But I was concerned that he was seeing Kim Kardashian. He told me that [their relationship] was for publicity and nothing serious.”
She went on to claim that West informed her that he never planned on being faithful to any one woman.
“He will never be faithful to one girl and he has women falling at his feet all the time,” she added.
Of course, while this seems like only a tiny change in her web of lies, it reveals Leyla’s motive of breaking the story: fame.
Just a few days ago, she took to Twitter where she explained the reason she told the tale was because she felt it was unfair for Kim K to be in a relationship with a man who is cheating on her.
Well, if the entire relationship was a publicity stunt, why would it really matter if Kanye is cheating or not?
Not to mention the fact that if anyone is benefiting from the “publicity stunt” it’s Kim, not Kanye – whose latest album “Yeezus” has been slammed by some pretty rough reviews after it leaked online.
So with that being said, is there really a chance that Ghobadi will be able to cash in on being a celebrity’s “other chick?”
Probably not…
Ghobadi isn’t the first woman to try to snag her claim to fame by revealing she slept with a famous man who was already in a relationship.
In earlier days, she would have had a better chance of becoming a celebrity from the story, but now people are much more sympathetic toward the woman who was being cheated on.
Ghobadi, more than likely, will have less than 15 minutes of fame especially considering that the press already seems a bit tired of the lying model.
“Typically the ‘careers’ for Hollywood mistresses are short lived,” talent agent Alec Shankman told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column. “Between Jesse James and Tiger Woods alone, we had upwards of dozens of mistresses involved, yet no one is really talking about any of them anymore.”
