Oscar Pistorius had to force his way through a media mob to attend a pretrial hearing in Pretoria, South Africa.
The South African paralympic champion has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
Pistorius has admitted shooting Steenkamp four times through a locked bathroom door in his Pretoria residence on February 14. The athlete’s legal team claim the killing was a tragic mistake and Pistorius acted in self-defense against what he thought was an intruder.
The prosecution accuses him of premeditated murder.
The judge adjourned the case until August 19 after both prosecution and defense asked for more time to prepare their cases.
