On tonight’s Law & Order: SVU season 14, episode 21 “Traumatic Wound,” a suburban teen is brutally assaulted when a concert turns into a mob scene. Friends and eyewitnesses give mixed accounts of the event, and Detective Amaro finds himself trying to save the reputation of the prime suspect, a fellow military veteran whose fractured memory could hold the answer to why the girl was targeted.
Created by Emmy Award-winning producer Dick Wolf, Law & Order: SVU is a hard-hitting and emotional series from NBC’s “Law & Order” brand chronicles the life and crimes of the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department, an elite squad of detectives who investigate sexually based crimes. Dedicated Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), a seasoned veteran of the unit who has seen it all, heads up the department with empathy and professionalism, all the while dealing with her difficult past – as a product of rape and a witness to her mother’s grief, she can personally relate to each victim she tries to help.
Law & Order: SVU is now in its 14th season and the series has received several awards. “Traumatic Wound” airs tonight, May 1, at 9:00pm on NBC. Spoilers video below:
