Amanda Bynes shaved half her head and shared photos of the new ‘do on Twitter, but people are speculating that the cut might be Bynes’s slow transition into a public meltdown rather than a stylish fashion choice.
Amanda is no stranger to changing up her look as the child star is now unrecognizable to many of her fans that grew up watching her on Nickelodeon.
Many celebrities have pulled off the head half-shaved look, especially Cassie, and it seems like Amanda figured she would try out the shaved look as well.
“I buzzed half my head like Cassie,” she tweeted along with a photo of the cut. “No more old photos! This is the new me! I love it.”
This wasn’t the first time the actress claimed to have shaved her hair off, but apparently it’s the first time she got a shaved look that she really liked.
“I had to shave my head because of hair damage from someone @ John Barrett so I’m not loving my paparazzi pics for a few years,” she tweeted after the first attempt at a cute shaved do.
Unfortunately, the new do hasn’t come with any good news for the child star. She still seems to be up to no good and getting herself into trouble wherever she turns.
On Saturday the dimple pierced blonde was allegedly kicked out of a gym after she decided to smoke some marijuana in the public restroom.
Of course, this isn’t the first time the starlet was kick out of a gym. Earlier this month she was booted from a spinning class after she reportedly burst into tears.
In addition to continuing her crazy antics, the 27-year-old seems to be completely delusional when it comes to her financial status.
She recently told In Touch that she is “in the Mary-Kate and Ashley type of wealth [category],” but her net worth doesn’t even come close to adding up to a fourth of the net worth of the Olsen twins.
While Mary-Kate and Ashley are estimated to be worth over $300 million, Amanda’s net worth is somewhere between the $5 million and $6 million mark according to celebritynetworth.com.
What makes this so problematic is the fact that Bynes has certainly been living life as if she really did have $300 million in assets.
Between shopping, staying in luxurious hotels, and catching several taxis in one day In Touch estimates that the retired actress spends about $30,000 in one month.
“Her spending is out of control,” one source told In Touch.
It seems like the former Nickelodeon star had more motivation than just fashion when it came to chopping her hair off and embracing the short do. She was spending more than $10,000 on hair extensions at a salon in Queens N.Y.
Another source claims that the star spent a full month at the luxe W Times Square hotel.
“Amanda stayed here for about a month,” the source said. “She ordered room service. Her bill must have been massive.”
With Amanda already retiring from the acting world and making no real income, it’s only a matter of time before her “Mary-Kate and Ashley type of wealth” dwindles down to a MC Hammer type of wealth.
