Two official images from Marvel’s upcoming film “The Amazing Spider-Man 2“ have been debuted via Twitter accounts of director Marc Webb and actor Dane DeHaan. The two share the first look at two characters, super-villain Max Dillon and Norman Osborn’s son, Harry Osborn, who makes an appearance in the film as Peter Parker’s old friend.
In one of the images, Jamie Foxx is featured as Max Dillon before his physical transformation into blue Electro. With a caption that reads “Day 52. My name is Max”, the image hints that the glasses-wearing Dillon is obsessed with Spider-Man, as a Spidey poster is right behind him.
Meanwhile, DeHaan proudly presents to fans the new look of Harry Osborn, who was previously played by James Franco in Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man” films. The new Harry Osborn appears to be a young gentleman as he sports a grey checkered suit. Giving a menacing look to someone before getting into the car, baggy-eyed Osborn seems quite tired for some reason.
The sequel to “The Amazing Spider-Man” still follows Peter Parker busy taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen. Peter hasn’t forgotten the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep.
Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro, emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn, returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
