Over the past few days, Disney has been releasing new character posters for The Lone Ranger via the film’s Facebook page. The posters showcase both already-established characters, such as the eponymous protagonist, played by Armie Hammer, and the Halloween costume played by Johnny Depp, and newer ones, like the presumed love interests, played by Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter, and the presumed villains, played by William Fichtner and Tom Wilkinson.
There’s also now a new TV spot for the movie. It doesn’t really have much new footage, but condenses what we’ve already seen from the trailers into 15 seconds. The film itself continues to look expensive, if nothing else. And loud. And explosiony. And highly offensive to Native Americans.
The Lone Ranger comes out July 3rd. Here are the posters:

Also, observation: the Lone Ranger is in fact not lone. He has a partner. So… that’s a highly misleading moniker.
