On tonight’s NCIS season 10, episode 20 “Chasing Ghosts,” the NCIS team investigates a Navy Reservist’s missing husband while Tony is shocked to discover how Ziva is coping with her fathers death. When a Navy reservist returns home to find her husband missing and her living room covered in blood, she turns to the NCIS team to bring him home. Meanwhile, Tony suspects that Ziva is planning a risky move to avenge her father’s death.
NCIS series is based on the cases of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, special agents traverse the globe to investigate all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps ties. With liberal doses of humor, the show focuses on the sometimes complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations.
The agents includes special agent Anthony DiNozzo, an ex-homicide detective, special Agent Ziva David, probably the most dangerous team member, and special agent Timothy McGee, an MIT graduate with a special genius talent in the computer field. Forensic specialist Abby Sciuto, also assist the team along with medical examiner Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard. Head of operations is NCIS Director Leon Vance, who is an intelligent and highly-trained agent.
