On this week’s episode of Bates Motel, Norma deals with distractions as her suspicions grow about certain town residents.
Bates Motel serves as a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film, “Psycho”, and promises to give viewers an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates’ psyche unravels through his teenage years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory and learn first hand just how deeply intricate his relationship with his mother, Norma, truly is and how she helped forge the most famous serial killer of them all.
After the death of her husband, Norma Bates purchases a motel on the outskirts of the coastal town of White Pine Bay, on the hunt of a new start. As Norma and Norman get use in their surroundings, they find out the new town isn’t quite what it seems, and the local community aren’t ready to let them in on their secrets. The Bates’ response is to do whatever it takes to survive – and take guard to protect their own secrets.
