'Grey’s Anatomy' Season 9 Episode 20: “She’s Killing Me”

Greys Anatomy

On tonight’s Grey’s Anatomy season 9, episode 20 “She’s Killing Me,” upon receiving some unsettling news, Meredith and Derek take preventative steps for their children’s future; a group of Syrian doctors arrive at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital for a crash course in basic surgical skills that they plan to apply in the field; and April decides to come clean to Matthew regarding the truth about her virginity. Meanwhile, multiple pre-op patients develop infections, causing one doctor to wonder if she is at fault.

Grey’s Anatomy revolves around how the doctors of Seattle Grace Hospital deal with life-or-death consequences on a daily basis – it’s in one another that they find comfort, friendship and, at times, more than friendship. Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo), along with interns Cristina Yang, Izzie Stevens, George O’Malley and Alex Karev’s, medical world revolved around textbooks and professors yesterday, but today they are experiencing medicine first-hand as surgical interns at Seattle Grace Hospital, a teaching hospital with one of the toughest residency programs in the nation. Here, they must learn to balance their personal lives with their highly competitive professional lives, all while dealing with the daily stress of life and death situations. Together they’re discovering that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white. Real life only comes in shades of grey.

The series stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres, Eric Dane as Mark Sloan, Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt, Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, Jessica Capshaw as Arizona Robbins, Sarah Drew as April Kepner and Jesse Williams as Jackson Avery.

Grey’s Anatomy, airs on Thursdays at 9:00pm EST on ABC. Sneak peek pictures for “She’s Killing Me” below:
