It’s a good, good day for all of us mere mortals. Not only is there a THIRD Hemsworth brother, but he’s going to grace us all with his presence on the silver screen. The eldest Hemsworth brother, Luke Hemsworth, just landed his first movie role in the Australian film, Reckoning.
Per Deadline, Australian writer-director John V. Soto’s new film Reckoning follows two detectives (Luke Hemsworth and Jonathan LaPaglia) as they search for two missing teenagers who are involved with a snuff film. Shooting is set to begin at the end of April.
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa PatakyIn case you’ve been living under a rock the past few years, Liam and Chris Hemsworth are two of the hottest brothers in film right now – in terms of both sex appeal and casting calls. Chris is busy starring as Thor and the Huntsman in Snow White and the Hunstman 2, while Liam portrays the Gale in The Hunger Games series. Both brothers also star in the tabloids on a basis. Chris and his wife, Elsa Pataky, wed in 2010 and just welcomed their first child, India Rose, last May.

Most recently, the pair have been under media scrutiny as to whether or not they’re still engaged after Miley made a few appearances sans ring. According to the latest reports, the wedding (and the ring) are back on. Unfortunately for all of the Hemsworth smitten fans, Luke Hemsworth is also off the market. He and wife, Samantha, have been married since 2007 and the pair have three daughters.
While it’s been a roller coaster of emotion to find out there is a THIRD Hemsworth, he’s an actor too, but alas he’s also taken- it’s still nice to know he’s around to look at. Plus my money is on Liam being single again real soon, so there’s still a chance of landing a Hemsworth…right?
