Twins Tamera Mowry-Housley and Tia Mowry-Hardict, 34, are absolutely gorgeous on the April cover of Essence magazine. Embracing her sassy short hairstyle, Tia joins her sister wearing complimenting bright orange sheath dresses. Accompanying the interview are beautiful photos of the sisters holding their sons. Mowry-Housley gave birth to her first baby boy Aden 3-months ago with husband Adam Housley while Mowry-Hardrict welcomed her son Cree Taylor with husband Cory nearly two years ago.
Naturally the conversation turned to motherhood, check out some excerpts below:
Tamera on motherhood: I’ve always wanted to be a mother. I’m a nurturer, a girly girl. I know my priorities: God, family and work … When those things are in check, the work will flow.
Tia On Being A Mother: I feel sexier now, as a mother, than I ever have in my life. I’m more in tune with my body. I don’t take any crap anymore either.
Surely that new found freedom will allow the sisters to succeed in the next phase of their intertwined lives. According to Essence,
“Life is sweet for twins for Tia & Tamera Mowry. As successful, married new moms, the reality TV stars are adding a new hyphenate to their resumes: entrepreneur. The two recently launched a product line for mothers and babies called Mama Need.”
