On this week’s Bones, season 8 episode, Dr. Temperance Brennan will meet her match when it comes to the inteligence. When exceptionally educated new intern Dr. Oliver Wells begins working at the Jeffersonian, his fast-mastering, passionate persona conflicts with Brennan as he gets underneath her skin by using his unconventional yet indisputable findings, triggering her to attempt to become more open-minded regarding several scientific questions. At the same time, Booth fears she may have gone beyond the boundary when she accepts the chance of time travel to be a factor in a homicide analysis.
Bones is an American crime comedy-drama television series currently in its eighth season, that premiered on the Fox network in the United States on September 13, 2005. The show is based on real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs. Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), with each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz).
When the standard methods of identifying a body are useless (when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed), law enforcement calls on Brennan (Bones) for her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim’s bones. While most people can’t handle Brennan’s intelligence, her drive for the truth or the way she flings herself headlong into every investigation is an exception.
The rest of the main cast includes Michaela Conlin, T. J. Thyne, Eric Millegan, Tamara Taylor, Jonathan Adams, and John Francis Daley.
