Reno 911! officer Thomas Lennon has recently signed on to star along side Sean Hayes in the upcoming NBC comedy tentatively titled Happiness.
The sitcom spawns from the creator of the short lived Fox comedy Better Off Ted, Victor Fresco. Happiness is still in the development stages but it is known that Lennon will play Sean Hayes temperamental boss. Lennon will play a 30-something man who is trying to manage his work and family life as a dad with a teenage daughter who just moved back home.
Alice alum, Linda Lavin has also been cast in the comedy as Hayes mom who overseas all the chaos.
Fresco also wrote the script and will serve as an Executive Producer along with Hayes and Todd Milliner (Hot in Cleveland).
