Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is deep into filming, forging its way to a fast approaching release date of October 4th. While in the midst of shooting, Director Robert Rodriguez popped some pictures and showed them to the world via twitter, to show how much fun he’s having making the movie.
“Having a BLAST making this movie. Amazing cast, and they’re all doing fantastic work.” Featured in the photo is Josh Brolin, who is replacing Clive Owens from the first film, performing in front of a green screen with just a car steering wheel mounted on a green box.
“Here’s bad ass Josh Brolin driving a Rodriguez-mobile. (A green box with a steering wheel bolted on)” Rodriguez tweeted.
“And here’s a quick photo touch up I do to set a tone for the actors. (Probably won’t be raining in final movie)”
In Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, Brolin’s character Dwight is hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord played by Eva Green, and then watches his life crumble to hell. Returning from the first Sin City are actors, Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, Jaime King, and Rosario Dawson who are all reprising their roles. New comers Gordon-Levitt and Juno Temple will star as well. As Rodriguez hinted on his twitter, more images are soon to come. So stay tuned!
Sin City: A Dame To Kill is being shot in 3D and is tentatively set to release October 4th 2013.
