Ernie Hudson Added to ABC's 'Reckless'

Ghostbusters star, Ernie Hudson may possibly return to television to star in ABC’s new drama series Reckless.

Hudson is in negotiations to play a retired expert CIA analyst who is fed up with the humdrum of life, according to a Deadline report. The series will center around a savvy problem solver who sets of on a dark and dangerous path to set his unjustly imprisoned wife free from a foreign country’s prison.

Reckless is written and executive produced by Chris Black, with Martin Campbell directing and also executive producing.

Hudson is famous for his role as Winston Zeddemore in Ghostbusters, Sergeant Albercht in The Crow and Warden Leo Glynn in HBO’s OZ.  He has recently appeared in recurring roles as Conrad Buell in the ABC drama, Last Resort and Jay’s friend, Miles, in the Academy Award winning series Modern Family. 

It’s not clear if Hudson’s role is the lead role, and information about the production of Reckless and who else will star in the show has not yet been release.
