Oprah Gets First Dibs on Beyonce After Grammy Victory

Oprah Winfrey is known for nabbing the best interviews at just the right time, and now she’s adding Beyonce to the list.

Beyonce had a great night at the Grammys and has had a hectic schedule filming her HBO documentary, performing at the Super Bowl, and gracing the cover of Vogue. With that being said, it’s only right that the queen of journalism gets first dibs on interviewing the queen of R&B in the midst of all her success.

Blue Ivy’s mommy walked away with a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B performance for her hit “Love On Top,” but you can bet that Oprah’s interview will go much deeper than that.

The journalism veteran has never been shy of asking the tough questions and getting right down to digging up the dirt so expect to hear more about the lip syncing rumors from the inauguration, more details about the HBO documentary, her upcoming world tour and even how her past year has been as a new mommy.

Winfrey herself couldn’t help but tweet her joy about bagging an interview with the megastar.

“Can’t wait to talk to @Beyonce,” she tweeted. “Special #NextChapter on OWN Saturday night 8/7c. Yea u heard that correctly. BEYONCE and I sit down Saturday nite.”
