Kim Raver Last To Join CBS' 'NCIS: LA' Spinoff As Lead

NCIS: NY is coming to a close and CBS has chose not to leave the fans without a high intensity cop drama. The network has conjured up a backdoor pilot to NCIS: NY, which will begin shooting Monday,  February 11, and with time running short they’ve just finished up casting.

Kim Raver from Grey’s Anatomy has just landed the lead role in the new cop drama entitled NCIS: Red. The show revolves around a team of agents that has to travel the country together solving crimes along the way.  Raver plays special agent Paris, who is the leader of the team.  She’s in a league of her own, with a IQ in the 98th percentile, coupled with her athletic ability, she is a force to be reckoned with, which is why she is the leader.

The actress joins the cast with fellow actors John Corbett, who plays special agent Roy Mills, Scott Crimes, who plays Agent Dave, Miguel Ferrer, who plays assistant director Owen Granger and Edwin Hodge, who will play special agent Kai.

This comes as perfect timing for the Raver, after just becoming available because of her pervious starring role in the Lifetime pilot Lives of Wives which got passed over by the network.
