Trying to compete with One Direction for the hottest UK boy band, The Wanted snagged an upcoming reality show The Wanted Life, which will premiere this summer.
The popular boy band announced on Wednesday that their reality series The Wanted Life, will air this June on E!, the network that brought us Keeping up with the Kardashians. The series will follow the boys as they get accustom to their lives in the Hollywood Hills as they finish their upcoming album.
Since The Wanted are older than 1D, their profiles are a more naughty, meaning drinking and parties, which may make it a more interesting reality show. It is even rumored that Max George, band member, is dating Lindsay Logan. We’re not sure if she will make a cameo appearance on the show as of yet.
The group became part of the U.S. music scene with their hit song “Glad You Came,” but the group together has released two successful albums and several singles in the U.K.
The band members include Max George, Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Siva Kaneswaran and they are managed by the same manager of Justin Bieber, Scooter Braun.
The Wanted is planning a full-length album and international tour this fall.
