Olivia Wilde is engaged to her hilarious boyfriend from Saturday Night Live, Jason Sudeikis.
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have been dating since November of 2011 and even decided to move in together before they finally became engaged.
Wilde has refereed to Sudeikis as the love of her life, and it seems like he felt the exact same way.
Something about the holidays must have put the comedian in the mood for love because according to people it wasn’t long after Christmas that the pair made their love official.
Both Wilde and Sudeikis are “so excited and very, very happy” according to People.
Around the same time, however, Olivia was also denying rumors that she was engaged to Jason – but we’re pretty sure the Mitt Romney impersonator hadn’t gotten around to popping the question yet.
“No I’m not engaged,” she tweeted back in December. “…but I AM at the Stones show and holy sh-t Ronnie Wood you got style, boy. It’s just a fact. Trying to score a shoe pic.”
We’re not sure if she’s gotten her shoe pic yet, but we’re steadily awaiting a ring pic.
After all, the engagement has been a long time coming because how can a man not want to marry you after he “saved” your vagina? Well, at least that’s how Wilde put it.
“I felt like my vagina died,” the Tron actress said about the end of her marriage with her first husband Tao Ruspoli. “Turned off. Lights out… you can lie to your relatives at Christmas dinner and tell them everything on the home front is just peachy, but you cannot lie to your vagina.”
Well Jason came to the rescue and according to the hilarious couple they are ready to continue having “sex like Kenyan marathon runners.”
Of course, sex isn’t the only thing tying them together. All jokes aside, the House actress did confess her love for her fiancé.
According to Wilde she is “blissfully, hopefully, wildly in love” with her funny future husband.
Despite both of the love birds going through failed marriages in their pasts, this time they both felt like they found their soul mate.
“They’ve both been through it before and this has just felt right from the get go,” a close source said of the couple. “Everyone is happy for them.”
“The Change Up” actress was married to Tao Ruspoli for a long eight years before her “vagina died.”
Jason, on the other hand, had been in a relationship with the Pitch Perfect screenwriter Kay Cannon from 2004 to 2010 before he too felt like something just wasn’t right.
It didn’t take long for him to fall in love again however.
“He finally found the one that made him want to commit,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Wilde is thankful for her fans support and their adorable emoticons.
“Thanks for all the sweet congratulatory love, friends,” she tweeted. “And may I compliment your savvy use of that nifty engagement ring emoticon.”
Well congrats you two! And may we wish you many more years of “Kenyan marathon runner” type sex.
