Actor Brian White to Host Inaugural Georgia Entertainment Gala

Georgia’s entertainment industry will shine a well-deserved spotlight on the state’s expansive and growing indie arts and media community on Sunday. The event is the inaugural Georgia Entertainment Gala, an ambitious black tie and red carpet affair at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The Georgia Entertainment Gala is the brainchild of August Bailey, the producer and promoter of a popular Atlanta industry networking event called “Get Connected”.

Working in conjunction with the GWCC, SEMAJ Consulting, and a host committee representing a broad swath of the local production community, Bailey is presenting the event intended to recognize the many talented industry professionals around the state who are too often unheralded for their contributions.

Representatives from Georgia’s film production, music and allied industries will enjoy an evening of entertainment and fun hosted by actors Brian White (Brick, Stomp the Yard, Good Deeds) and Sarah Wayne Callie (Prison Break).

Premium sponsors for the Gala include Grey Goose Cherry Noir and Jim Ellis Audi.

Proceeds from the Gala will benefit the arts program of Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary School serving the Vine City neighborhood directly across from the GWCC.
