Zoe Saldana and Bradley Cooper have decided to breakup for the second time after the couple reportedly hit trouble in paradise around the holiday, and it didn’t take long for rumors to fly that Cooper is now hooking up with Britney Spears.
Saldana looked simply adorable as she posed in front of a festive Christmas tree with friends and her new rescue dog over the holidays, but perhaps the photo was really a sign of trouble in the relationship.
“Zoe had planned to spend the holidays with Bradley and his family in Europe,” one source told Page Six. “They all were going to Paris, but things didn’t work out between them. Zoe spent New Year’s Eve with friends in Miami.”
Before she departed to bring in the New Year in Florida, several sources discovered that Cooper and Saldana were having relationship troubles and it was only a matter of time before Bradley Cooper decided to break up with the 34-year-old beauty.
She must have known it was coming too, because sources said that the “Avatar” actress was very “guarded” while in Miami.
After the break up was a completely different story, however, as Saldana was spotted enjoying a private dinner with loved ones and didn’t seem very upset at all.
“If Zoe was upset over the split with Bradley, she didn’t show it,” a witness who was also at Catch Miami stated.
Bradley isn’t very upset about being single either apparently, but before the ladies start going wild “The Words” actor may already have another boo with quite a bit of the “X-Factor.”
Rumors have been flying that Britney Spears may get dumped from the “X-Factor,” but Bradley is likely to be right there by her side to scoop her up.
Sources have suggested that Bradley and Britney have been texting each other quite frequently after they met on the set of the third and final “Hangover” film.
Spears appearance in the film was supposed to be super secret, but now that she’s getting so close to Zoe’s ex the cat has definitely been let out of the bag.
“APPARENTLY BRITNEY AND BRADLEY COOPER ARE TEXTING IMAGINE IF THEY GOT MARRIED THEY WOULD HAVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN,” one Twitter user tweeted after hearing the rumors.
Of course, the excited all CAPS tweet made one point quite obvious – the rumors of the pop princess and the Hollywood hunk hooking up are only backed by a few text messages.
While that may be enough to raise an eyebrow or two, it certainly isn’t enough to suggest that these two will become love birds any time soon.
Either way it seems like Cooper doesn’t really care for the three strike rule. After the second breakup he appears to be ready to move on without his “The Words” co-star.
The pair broke up for the first time back in March of 2012 before rekindling their romance that fall.
The second breakup still comes as a surprise to some fans since the two were seem smiling and laughing together around Thanksgiving.
How could things go so wrong so fast?
While some sources are still pointing a finger at Spears, both Zoe and Bradley have remained mum about the real reason for the split.
