Dreamworks has released a trailer for their upcoming movie Turbo. The film is a 3D animated sports comedy, produced by Dreamworks Animation and 20th Century Fox, starring Ryan Reynolds, Paul Giamatti, Snopp Dogg and Samuel L. Jackson.
The film is based on an ordinary garden snail named Theo (Reynolds) aka Turbo, who dreams to become the world’s greatest race car driver like his idol, 5-time Indianapolis 500 champ, Guy Gagne. Being known as a social outcast in the snail community, Turbo has to prove them all wrong including his older brother Chet (Giamatti). He goes on a journey to beat the odds and tries to become the best racer in the world.
Turbo is expected to start a new DreamWorks television franchise series based on the film which is already in production.
Turbo is set to speed into theaters on July 19, 2013 and stars Reynolds, Giamatti, Snoop Dogg, Jackson, Michael Pena, Luis Guzman, Bill Hader, Richard Jenkins, Ken Jeong, Michelle Rodriguez and Maya Rudolph,
