Ashton Kutcher was spotted with girlfriend Mila Kunis over the weekend in his hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The former “That ’70s Show” co-stars stopped by the local Fruitzen Frozen Yogurt, according to People.
The spotting comes just days after Kutcher filed for divorce from ex Demi Moore. The divorce papers were filed Friday, citing the tried and true “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the dissolution of marriage. The two split in 2011 after numerous claims of Kutcher’s infidelity.
Kutcher’s filing comes after reports that Moore delayed divorce proceedings in a ploy for more cash. “The main issue they have been fighting over has been the division of assets and the monetary settlement, but it’s now gotten to the point where Ashton is willing to cave in to all of Demi’s demands just to reach a settlement, ” said a source to Radar Online.
However, the source further claims that Moore began “playing hardball and every time they come close to reaching an agreement she throws up another objection or demand.”
Moore, who recently turned 50, has attracted negative media attention for her hard partying, which in addition to the divorce drama, has reportedly led to an estrangement with her daughters (whose Dad is Bruce Willis). “Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah have all remained close to Ashton and they have completely come down on his side,” another source told Radar.
With official divorce proceedings now in the works, it will be harder for Moore to drag out the process, especially given the increasing seriousness of Kutcher’s relationship with Kunis.
“Ashton and Mila are completely in love, and since they spend so much time together, he decided to take a leap of faith and ask her to move in,” a source told The Telegraph.
One thing is certain: if the Iowa spotting is any indication, it’s time for the former “MrsKutcher” to move on, ideally with someone over 40.
