Kim Kardashian in Tyler Perry Film, How Did She Do?

Kim Kardashian is making her first major acting debut in Tyler Perry’s “Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.”

Kim has appeared in films before, like her small role in “Disaster Movie,” but this is one of her first major roles where the American socialite will actually be hired as an actress and not to just show up as herself in a film for a couple cheap jokes.

Tyler Perry definitely didn’t deliver in his performance as Alex Cross this year, so it seems like he is going back to the drawing board and doing what he does best – throwing together a star studded cast for one of melodramatic films.

The 32-year-old reality star will be playing the role of some sort of millionaire matchmaker and even renders her voice for much of the beginning of the new movie’s trailer.

“We have a billion dollars walking in and out of these offices looking for love,” the famous Kardashian’s voice explains in the beginning of the trailer while the camera catches some breathtaking bird’s eye views of the city below.

It may be her first major acting role, but she still remains true to what she is known for.

In the trailer Kim’s character is immediately called out for her revealing skin tight dress that shows off all her curves.

According to IMDB the film is due March 29 and will follow the story of a marriage counselor who can’t seem to take the advice she gives to clients. After becoming bored with her own marriage, the counselor (played by Jurnee Smollett) has an affair with one of her charismatic and charming clients.

Kimmy K will be starring along side her ex-boyfriend Ray J’s sister Brandy Norwood, Jurnee Smollett, Ella Joyce, Jerry Stiller, Vanessa Williams, Renee Taylor, and Lance Gross.

Kanye’s girlfriend doesn’t make many appearances in the movie trailer, but her character does seem to be very knowledgeable of the business. Unfortunately, Kim herself might be as knowledgeable of the business she is trying to enter.

Her voice over seems to be lacking the emotion that most veteran actresses can convey through their eyes alone. She also seems to be acting in a rather stiff manner compared to the other big names on the screen, but she does pleasantly surprise.

In the few flashes of the reality star on the trailer she may stand out as a acting rookie, but she definitely does a fairly good job.

Of course, in order to get a feel for her entire performance you’ll have to check out the movie in Spring of next year.
