If you thought you would only see Justin Bieber in concert or on magazine covers, you were incorrect. The Biebs is in the midst of developing his own TV show for ABC. According to TV Guide, the young pop star is slated to be the executive producer alongside his manager, Scooter Braun, and two other executive producers from HBO’s hit show Entourage, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi. Wolpert and Nedivi will be the creative minds writing the script.
ABC started the development stage for the show last year with hopes that it will be considered for air in the 2013-2014 season. Bieber’s TV show will tell the story of his life before he was discovered singing on YouTube, becoming an overnight sensation. The new shows does not yet have a title or an actor to portray the Biebs, since he will be working behind the camera.
Although there is not much known about this new Justin Beiber TV show, it is safe to say that the show will be a family-friendly comedy suitable for all ages. So yes, parents, you can let your children tune in to watch Justin Bieber’s new TV show, just don’t be surprised when they are disappointed that it is not the real Justin Bieber on screen.
