So… why would Wolverine use a katana? I mean, he already has those claws, so what could he do with- you know what, never mind. It looks cool – that’s all that matters.
Anyhoo, another poster has come out for The Wolverine, which is most definitely the popular X-Man’s first solo movie, and not a sequel to any other movie. Yep. The film, directed by James Mangold, finds Wolverine (Jean Valjean) in Japan, battling other mutants, as one does when abroad. Hopefully the movie avoids any unfortunate mighty-whitey story conventions (*cough* Last Samurai *cough*). Also hopefully it’s good, unlike… any other… hypothetical Wolverine movies, where he might, say, get shot with memory-erasing bullets. Ah, never mind. That would be stupid.

The Wolverine will be released July 26th, 2013.
