Hot New 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' Trailer Released

A new trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation has been released today. G.I. Joe: Retaliation is an upcoming science fiction action film, directed by Jon Chu, and stars Channing Tatum, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Bruce Willis, and Ray Park.

The official synopsis for G.I. Joe: Retaliation explains the movie as:

A follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with HASBRO and di Bonaventura Pictures, commences production on G.I. JOE: RETALIATION. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The film stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Jon M. Chu, and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner, from a screenplay by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe(R) characters.

The film was originally scheduled to be released on June 29,2012, but the studio pushed the date back to convert the movie into 3D technology. Why would the Paramount do that? It’s all about the money, that’s why! A studio executive explained the decision by saying, “We’re going to do a conscientious 3D job because we’ve seen how it can better box office internationally. Jim Cameron did all of Titanic‘s 3D in post – and look how well that movie turned out.”

G.I. Joe: Retaliation hits theaters on March 27, 2013. The new trailer is below:
