Jerramy Stevens, Hope Solo’s New Husband, Arrested – Again

Jerramy Stevens, the former NFL tight end who was arrested on the eve of his wedding to soccer star Hope Solo a few weeks ago, was apprehended and taken into custody in Florida for a parole violation.

Stevens, 33, was on probation for a possession of cannabis charge, according to booking information obtained on the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office website.

Seattle news outlet KING-TV reported that a Department of Corrections spokesperson believed that Stevens’ probation allowed him to travel to the state of Washington, as long as he did not get arrested. However, Stevens’ arrest earlier this month stemming from a domestic dispute violated his Florida probation, according to the report.

Stevens and Solo have been in the news this month after that domestic dispute led to Stevens’ arrest.

Police say that they were called to a disturbance at a home in Kirkland, a Seattle suburb, in the early-morning hours on Nov. 12. Solo and her brother blamed a disturbance on three unknown men. Officers maintained they had probable cause to arrest Stevens because they observed evidence of an altercation, including a cut on Solo’s elbow, and his admission that the two had argued, according to court documents.

The case against Stevens was dropped during court appearance due to lack of evidence. Stevens and Solo were married that night.

Solo, 31, commented on their marriage as recently as Tuesday after practicing with the US National Team in Portland, Ore.

”My life is great,” the goalkeeper said. ”My life is happy.”

”It’s unfortunate what the media can do to judge before the facts are out there. It’s hard to see, but it’s a hard truth, and it’s part of life,” she said. ”I’m happy. I’m happily married. I would never stand for domestic violence. I’ve never been hit in my life.”
