A pair of reality show judges will headline Rockefeller Center’s 15th Annual Christmas show, taking the stage to bring in the holiday season. Neither American Idol panelist Mariah Carey nor The Voice’s Cee Lo Green are strangers to the Christmas spirit, as each of them has released a holiday album of their own.
Viewers tuning in to the NBC broadcast can look forward to renditions of classics like “Run Rudolph Run” and “White Christmas” from Cee Lo’s Magic Moment, which also includes a cover of Carey’s own holiday hit, “All I Want for Christmas.” Airing Wednesday Nov. 28 at 8pm, the show will celebrate the lighting of Rockefeller Center’s 80-foot tree.
Mariah was also came up during her husband Nick Cannon’s interview on “Anderson Live,” where the America’s Got Talent host spoke about the couple’s life with their 18-month-old twins. Cannon admitted that “the kids run the house,” saying “We are just running and chasing after them and then my wife is being the diva that she is. I am trying to keep up with them.”
That includes diaper duty, something Cannon claims Carrey seems to avoid. “I mean we all do it, but for some reason I get that duty a little bit more,” he added. After being diagnosed with lupus earlier in the year, Cannon says that giving up red meat and including more vegetables in his diet has brought him back to peak physical condition.
“Now, my doctor says I’m 100 percent; I’m in tip-top shape; I’m in better shape than I’ve ever been in my life,” he told Cooper.
