The Weinstein Company has released another exciting clip of Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained. To go along with the company’s launch of a new website for the upcoming movie, they included a new 60-second clip.
The new footage features the A-list Hollywood stars like Jamie Foxx Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson in their old southern characters. In the clip, parading around on a horse, Foxx’ character even takes a man’s life, who is probably partially responsible for holding his wife captive in slavery.
For those who don’t know by now, Django Unchained is a Southern Western-type film set in the cotton fields of the 1800s Deep South. Django (Foxx) is a freed slave who teams up with Christoph Waltz’s bounty hunter character, Dr. King Schultz, to hunt down the opposition and to free Django’s wife (Kerry Washington). Leonardo DiCaprio’s character, Calvin Candie, is the plantation owner and the Schultz and Django will have to go through a slew of men until they finally meet him face to face.
Django Unchained will hit theaters December 25, 2012. New clip below:
