Prior to taking the stage the petite pop star tweeted to her nearly three million Twitter followers,
‘About to #MakeTheWorldMove with @CeeLoGreen on @NBCTheVoice tonight. You better not miss it!!!’
Aguilera’s fro was topped with a crown but was not to be outdone by the singer’s white sparkling over the knee boots and silver dress with a train. It is unclear what the inspiration was for the look. Aguilera originally debut the pink afro with her Halloween costume and somehow felt it appropriate for her performance outfit.
The single “Make the World Move” is featured on Aguilera’s Lotus album which was released earlier that day. Her Voice co-judge Cee Lo joined her onstage to bring an end to the spirited performance along with hundreds of red balloons.
Later in the show, Aguilera’s wig remained planted on head as she had to say goodbye to Adriana Louise,
“Thank you for being everything that I could have wished for and more,” said Louise.
“At this point, you’re going to go beyond this show. This is only a moment in time that will pass,” responded Aguilera.
