First Picture from Jon Turtletaub's 'Last Vegas'

I’d never thought that the prospects for a movie starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, and Kevin Kline would seem so grim, but there you have it.

Deadline has the first promo image for their new film, Last Vegas, and it looks terribly amateurish. There are other reasons to not get enthused about this film, though. Like the fact that these four guys have been mostly phoning it in for years. Or the fact that it’s directed by Jon Turtletaub and Dan Fogelman. Or the fact that the plot (“four friends throw a bachelor party in Las Vegas for the last of the gang to remain single”) sounds like the definition of “not trying.” Or the fact that it’s being distributed by CBS Films. Or the fact that it’s called Last Vegas. But hey, maybe it could still be good (probably not)?

The movie will be released December 20th, 2013.
