Stacey Dash’s Paul Ryan photo has taken over her original Mitt Romney endorsement photo while her former ‘Single Ladies’ co-star LisaRaye lends her back to Barack Obama.
Stacey Dash, who left “Single Ladies’ after the first season tweeted a photo in a red swimsuit touting her support for Republican candidate Mitt Romney. “Vote for Romney. The only Choice for the future” earlier this month. But Dash’s outright support resulted in a slew of backlash. Despite the criticism Dash has followed that photo with two additional photos. The second came with the actress at the voting booth casting her earlier vote for Romney the third came with Dash standing next to Romney’s running mate Paul Ryan.
On the opposite end her former co-star LisaRaye took an artistic approach to endorse President Obama for a second term with a painting of Obama set against the American flag on her back.
“I don’t think people seem as excited about this presidential campaign as they were four years ago,” said LisaRaye about her decision before adding, “For this campaign, I just wanted something that would make an impact. I wanted to say why I’m behind President Obama in this election, and I want to encourage everyone to vote. I have Obama’s back, and I want everyone to have Obama’s back.”
But while she received praises her decision, Dash was again criticized for her continued support of Romney/Ryan. See the tweets below:
